2000 Members Tour
The TAVERNIER's hosted the September meet in Kissimmee, FLorida.
It was a little of a ride for some of us but well worth it!
Cliff & Wynona's Railroad takes up a large portion of their hugh backyard.
The track is elevated to the height of 3 railroad ties. The ties were placed
together and in some spots, even make up their own islands for bridge and
tressle crossing. Several members brought their own loco's and diesel's to
run on the track. The Durango / Silverton was running with 7 passenger
cars and a caboose. Someone even had there Santa Fe F7/A-B-A running
with some great sound effects. As like last months meet in Clearwater,
We were forced indoors for a bit from the rain showers. Once the sun
came back out, we were all outdoors again and the trains were rolling.
I managed to get some pics in between trying to sell / swap some railroad
