The PERO's
hosted the October meet in Lutz.
The " Live
Oak & Northern-LA Division " is a subsidiary
of the good old
Southern Pacific Railroad.
The railroad has
been under construction for over two
years and a great
deal of site prep went into this wonderful
layout. The design
has the roadbed elevated about 18" above
the ground for
better viewing and photography angles as well
as to avoid the
possibility of flooding in the florida weather.
Their are two main
lines totaling over 600' for track not to
mention the elaborate
switching yard as well as the engine sheds
You must see this
for yourself.
