The TAVERNIER's
hosted the February meet in Kissimmee, Florida.
This meet was a
combined Tampa Bay
& Central Division
meet.
This months gathering
brought together
members and guests
from all over the
state. Al Hofmann and his wife made it from the
SouthWest Division
as well.
Cliff & Wynona's
Railroad takes up a large portion of their huge backyard.
The track is elevated
to the height of 3 railroad ties. The ties were placed
together and in
some spots, even make up their own islands for bridge and
trestle crossing.
Cliff is still working on some expansion.
If you have never
made it out to one of the TAVERNIER's meets,
its worth
the trip.
Cliff always tries to have a Buy/Sell/Swap area in the yard for
anyone to place
their goods out for sale. You can pick up some great buys
as well as thin
out some of your excess train items. Several members had
tables setup.
