Florida Garden Railway Society's

May 2003 Members Tour

May 24, 2003
The Central Division's May meet was held at the home of
Eric & Ina ECKLUND in Northern Florida. The track layout
looks outrageous as well does the trestle work.
It was a swap meet so Frank Pac came out of the
woodwork, selling Ozark Miniatures.. Very large layout,
a huge curved trestle, just completed by Dale Kuckenbecker
that was a couple of feet off the ground...A wonderful
walk-thru storage shed/workshop, heavily decorated on the
outside with antiques, as that is "Ina's" profession..Oh, one
unusual feature, all sections were serviced by a "drip irrigation"
system, that appeared on the surface as an "outdoor minature light"

It was a great day for the running of the trains around the
pond and out into the yard. The SouthWest Division had
members and friends stop by from All over the state.
The following pages are some highlights of the meet.
