Florida Garden Railway Society's

May 2003 Members Tour

May 4, 2003
The SouthWest Division's May meet was held at the home of
John & Mary Ann GREINER. John has the only "Cog" or "Rack"
engine in the division. One of John's other layouts is an "N" scale
layout in an old Bow case which is fully landscaped and represents
all 4 seasons. The "Cog" train will climb a 16 degree incline to
the center and then decends on the other end where it will
reverse and head back.
It was a great day for the running of the trains around the
pool and out into the yard. The SouthWest Division had
members and friends stop by from Arcadia to Marco Island.
The following pages are some highlights of the meet.
