Florida Garden Railway Society's

FEBRUARY 2007 Members Tour

February 25, 2007

Jack & Trudi GRIDLEY held the February meet for the Tampa Bay Division's.

It was fitting that the Gridley’s meet in Dunedin should be a warm one with their
volcano spewing lots of steam into the already warm afternoon. 43 members and guests
came together to attend Jack & Trudi Gridley’s “First-Time Meet” on the 25
th.

The Hawaiian theme was carried out from the fine, authentic Island foods that were
prepared to the Island-inspired attire worn by many members. Trudi greeted everyone with
an Aloha and Lei to help set the stage for a fun aftenoon.
<>   We were joined by Bruce, Sharon, Vinny, Lorraine, Richard and Toni - all new members
attending their first Tampa Bay meet.  Also joining us were Brian and Barry from just
North of Dunedin – actually, Ontario. These guys did well in the Raffle winning a boxcar
and the engine. Now they’ll have to come back to run the equipment.
Jay Archer’s Mom and her friend came by to join in the festivities and to remind us that
Jay will be 40 next month. Thanks Mom. !
