On Sunday
December 6, 2008 we had our Christmas meet at Jim Earle's home in St.
Pete.
There were 50+ members and a several guests
in attendance. Jim's "Rock and Tree" layout features
narrow gauge freight and passenger steam trains, battery, electric and
live steam.
Jim's layout resembles the "Cumbres and Toltec railroad in southern
Colorado.
Nominating
chairman George
Miller announced that we would have to vote in the new board as follows:
Director-
Thomas Jonkhout, Vice Director- Kevin Timmons,
Secretary/Treasure- Les Dichter,
Members
at large- Jim Earle and David Kish, the vote was unanimous.
Last but not least was the
"Monster raffle" by out going raffle mister Bruce Boyle, there were 10+
loco's,
rolling stock and accessories, what a way to go out, GREAT JOB!
