You’re probably here because you love large scale trains and you are looking for like-minded individuals who share your interest. Members of our organization enjoy building models, landscaping, and all aspects of garden railroading, and just getting together to socialize, exchange ideas, and run trains. We also set up displays at shows, and basically just have fun with this great and diverse hobby. We are glad you decided to click on us, and we hope that once you have had a chance to check us out, you’ll want to become an active member.  You don't need to have a garden railroad or model railroading experience to be a member.  If you enjoy being around trains, and want to meet with others who do, you are welcome!

 

Dues are $25.00 per year which supports the costs of our website and other administrative costs of running our organization.  It also helps pay for storage, maintenance, and acquisition of new railroad displays for our exhibits.  You'll also want a custom name tag with your name, town, and the Florida Garden Railway Society logo engraved on it for $12.00 each.

You can sign up for membership by printing out and completing the "Application Form" , and mailing it, along with your check, to the Membership Chairman at the address on the form.  You’ll get a follow-up email confirming and thanking you for joining.  Then it’s up to you to be as active as you want to be.  We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your interest in the Florida Garden Railway Society.
